Kall8 Toll Free Numbers for USA and Canada
Kall8 is a fully integrated stand-alone toll-free service that offers you traditional 800 service in addition to a complete set of online tools to manage and track your toll-free number in real time. All rates listed on this page are in US dollars.
US and Canada Toll Free Numbers
6.9¢/minute
Kall8 US/Canada toll free numbers bill at 6.9¢ per minute, anytime and anywhere in the US* and Canada**. When you get a Kall8 toll free number, you designate what phone number you want it to ring to. You do not need an additional line for your Kall8 number.
Standard US/Canada Kall8 numbers are
$2 per month with $2 installation fee.
Standard true 800 numbers (as opposed
to 888, 877 and 866 numbers) are $5
per month with $5 setup fee. Vanity
numbers are $10 per month with $10
set up fee. These numbers can be called
from anywhere in the US or Canada and
they can ring anywhere in the world.

Terms of Service
Kall8 is billed month to month to your credit card and can be cancelled anytime without penalty. However, if you select a Kall8 toll free number from their list and then choose to transfer that toll free number to another carrier within 12 months, there is a $50 penalty.
Kall8 Features
Real-Time Activation - sign up on the Internet and use your toll free number as soon as you have finished submitting the application. No wait necessary for most number activations.
Voicemail - Send your calls to voice mail and receive the voice messages in a .wav file in your email. The voice message will be in the voice of the caller who left it. You set the time it rings before going to voicemail. All of your calls can be sent to voice mail without ringing your phone by setting the time to 0 seconds. (Great for after hours calls)
Fax to E-mail - Kall8 also works as a fax to e-mail service. Faxes are delivered right to your e-mail inbox. You can program your Kall8 number to serve as a dedicated fax number or you can manually switch it over to fax receive service temporiarily whenever you need to receive an occasional fax.
Conferencing - Simple voice conferencing allows you, and up to 10 associates, to have conferences any time you want and for as long as you'd like! Even better, with Kall8 Conferencing at your fingertips, it's not even necessary to schedule conferences in advance.
Routing to Closest Location - If you have a multiple locations business, you can now automatically route your toll free number to the location closest to the caller. This would be useful for car dealerships, real estate agents or dry cleaners, to name a few examples. Click for details. . .
Lead Generation - One of the most exciting features that we've developed is the ability to capture caller ID on all of the calls coming into our toll free numbers. We get the name and phone number of each caller and post it on the web site with the call detail for that account. This allows the customer to create/expand a list of contacts for their sales people to call. It's a marvelous marketing/sales tool at no extra cost to the customer.

Local Washington State Non-Toll Free Numbers - In addition to toll-free service, Kall8 can provide Standard Local numbers in the Seattle area. These numbers can be called from international destinations, unlike toll free numbers, which are not accessible from outside North America. These numbers are 4.9 cents per minute plus $2 per month and $2 installation.

Consider how you might use our
International Termination Toll Free Service:
- Establish the appearance of a US office even though your company is located outside of the US or Canada.
- Your company is outside the US or Canada, but you want your US and Canadian customers to be able to call you toll free and avoid costly international phone charges.
- You can use it as a toll free voicemail service that US or Canadian residents can call to leave messages that are delivered to your email inbox.
- Your family members live in the US or Canada but you are residing overseas and you want them to call you at your expense.
- You are traveling to the US or Canada from overseas and want to be able to call home while on your trip without the hassle and expense of buying prepaid calling cards.
- You'd like US and Canadian residents to be able to fax you toll free. Get a toll free number to ring to your fax number or use the Kall8 fax feature to receive your faxes digitally and have them delivered to your email box.
*Calls originating in Alaska and Hawaii are an additional 25¢ per minute, calls originating in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands are an additional 21¢ per minute, and calls originating in Canada are billed at the 6.9¢ per minute rate.
**The only exceptions to this rate are some small rural areas amounting to less than 1% of the population, i.e. area codes 250 (Vancouver Island), 709 (Newfoundland) and 867 (Yukon & NW Territories), which still have call origination surcharges of 6¢, 6¢ and 42¢ per minute respectively.
Transfer
an existing toll free number to Kall8
To transfer your existing toll free number to Kall8, fill out a LOA and a RespOrg form and fax them in together. To avoid provisioning delays, make sure that the name and address on these forms match EXACTLY the name and address on the previous company's phone bill. Include a copy of the summary page of a recent bill from your current toll free carrier. This is a requirement imposed for your protection to be sure that the person who is placing the order to move the account is the person paying the bill and is authorized to make that change. Fax the two forms toll-free to 866-474-3591. The transfer will take as little as 2 days up to a week or so, depending on how fast your previous carrier releases your number. The transfer will be seamless and you will have no interruption in service
