Advertising in E-mails

Copper.net e-mails do not include any advertising placed at the bottom of your e-mails. In addition, our free e-mail anti-spam service, will reduce or even eliminate damaging, unwanted and annoying e-mail messages. Our anti-spam service is automatically included with every e-mail account.

NetZero policy on e-mail: "NetZero may, from time to time, place a message and or a hypertext link geared to promoting the benefits of NetZero Services or a third party sponsor in the footer location of outgoing e-mail messages transmitted from your account. You agree to permit NetZero to include such messages or links in e-mail messages you transmit and agree not to alter, obscure or remove such messages or links."

Advertising on Web Browser

Unlike other discount Internet providers, Copper.net does not insert any annoying pop-up advertising or any other kind of advertising while you are surfing the World Wide Web.

NetZero policy on advertising: "You expressly permit and authorize NetZero (and such third parties as may be authorized by NetZero, subject to the Privacy Statement) to furnish you, electronically when you use the NetZero Services or by any other means selected by NetZero, information prepared by NetZero or by (or on behalf of) other entities, including advertising information and solicitations. You acknowledge that any such information, advertisements and solicitations are an inseparable part of the NetZero Service, and you understand and agree that the furnishing of such information, advertisements and solicitations to you cannot be terminated unless the NetZero Service is also terminated. You agree not to modify the Software in any manner or form, or to use modified versions of the Software including, without limitation, for the purpose of obtaining unauthorized access to the NetZero Service or disabling features of the Software or NetZero Service."

Juno policy on advertising: "You expressly permit and authorize Juno (and such third parties as may be authorized by Juno, subject to the Privacy Statement) to furnish you, electronically when you use the Service or by any other means selected by Juno, information prepared by Juno or by (or on behalf of) other entities, including advertising information and solicitations. You acknowledge that any such information, advertisements and solicitations are an inseparable part of the Service, and you understand and agree that the furnishing of such information, advertisements and solicitations to you cannot be terminated unless the Service is also terminated."

Privacy

Copper.net privacy policies:
We use the information you provide about yourself only to complete your request, fulfill our service to you, send elected communications, provide customer support and authenticate referrals for our Referral program. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order or as required by law.

NetZero Collection and Use of Personal Information: "NetZero will collect, store, compile and utilize information about you, your computer, your phone number and your use of the NetZero Services including, without limitation, information regarding the Web sites you visit and information that you provide in response to NetZero questionnaires, surveys and registration forms. NetZero may provide this information to third parties including advertisers, clients, marketing organizations and others."

From Juno's Privacy statement: "In addition to Member Profile and other survey data obtained from our subscribers (as discussed below), we may collect information relating to how you use the Site or the Service (including, for example, information relating to your frequency of use, navigational information such as the uniform resource locator (URL) of the Web pages you visit, configuration information such as the type of Web browser you are using, your Internet Protocol (IP) address, processor type, operating system, information relating to the length of time you use the Service or that your computer is turned on, and information relating to the display of any advertisements transmitted to you). We may update the information in your Member Profile with information obtained through generally accepted methods of address verification."
